Kingfisher is our newest Specimen Carp lake which is also stocked with Ghost, Mirror and Common Carp. The lake record currently stands at 25lb 2oz.

Daytime bookings are from 7am – Dark, 24 hour bookings start at 4pm, Day and Night bookings are from 7am to 4pm the next day. Day bookings can be made up to two weeks in advance.

Kingfisher is also booking only with four defined pegs. A maximum of four anglers are allowed at any one time so if you are planning on fishing with a friend from the same peg you must book two pegs side by side.

On site is a shop where you can purchase refreshments, including hot and cold sandwiches, drinks and snacks. We also stock many of the essentials you require for your fishing experience in our tackle shop. We also stock Maggots, Casters and Worms.

Another couple of sessions and some lovely fish to show for it. You can see the weeds cleared massively. 2 huge sections have now gone. Bit of a shame for me because fishing tight just over them always got a bite and a good mainline with steady pressure usually saw them cross the cord, plenty of other spots available. Don’t be afraid to chuck a pva bag into some of the lower weed, they feed in it and will find it if you sit on your hands. I cleared a margin spot in 24 hours by feeding chopped and crumbed boilies. Had them that confident they didnt see me lower a rig in and nailed the orange one. Hosts as always a pleasure to chat too. Back very soon for more.

Hugely disappointed, drove an hour and half to stay the night on an unfishable water. Too much weed, plus side , there plenty of decent looking fish in there as could see them . Great location, if weren’t for the weed it be great. Unfortunately I will never recommend or go back .

Cracking little pond. Have a bit of a walk round it and whilst weedy it’s more than fishable. Don’t turn up expecting to just chuck your rig in, it’s not that type of water. The weed is being worked on but can’t all be taken out at once.
Great complex with some lovely looking fish to go at. Barbara and Martin are great hosts and happy to help if you need it.

The Area and pond layout is great but when trying to actually fish the lake it is next to impossible due to the whole lake being filled with very over grown weeds everywhere on the lake. Me and my friend arrived for a 24 hours and was very let down to see the pond in a very un-maintained state. 2 other pegs was vacated and had the same problem . If you are looking to have a great fishing experience this is sadly not the spot. Due to this we will never be returning . Big shame and very let down due to this being fairly local …
