Here at Pool Bridge Farm we are a haven for wild swimmers and their families. Along with our 4 beautiful swimming lakes we have a vast and secluded camping field. The lakes are very popular with day guests who come to wild swim and picnic, but the campsite is set back from the lakes providing tranquillity and peace. All pitches on The Meadows are grass and have no electric Hook up.

The Meadows campsite allows you to pitch your tent on arrival with no restrictions on the amount of space you can use. Due to the space you don’t need to worry about not being able to pitch close to friends.

We have a new shower and toilet block on the campsite which will be fully operational this season, the current shower and toilet block is small, but fully functioning, and a 150m walk from the The Meadows campsite.

Unlimited swimming during opening times for the duration of your stay is included.
Everyone in your group must sign a waiver before attending.
This includes the day you check in and Check out.
You can also bring your own SUP board and SUP session each day (subject to availability) is included in your stay.
The sessions must be pre-booked and they do book up fast so book as soon as you’ve got your camping confirmation
The Sauna is not included in your stay and needs to be booked on our website – there is no discount for the Sauna Experience.

Price is per person.
Arrival from 1pm.
Departure by 11am.
To keep weekends running smoothly, weekend stays start on Fridays with a minimum two-night stay.
Saturday arrivals or departures aren’t available, but you’re very welcome to book a one-night stay on Sunday

Please note: this is a dog-free site (due to the abundant wildlife on our mini nature reserve). No pets are allowed.

Booking as a Group?

Camping is booked and priced per person, please just indicate how many tents you’ll be bringing per booking. We have a large field and you choose where to camp on arrival.

We allow groups of up to 6 without prior arrangement. If there are more than 6 people in your group (including children) you must email us first [email protected] to confirm you are a lovely group of swimmers – and we will make a note of your group and instruct you on how to book your group in. Any groups larger than 6 that don’t pre-confirm will turned away on arrival.

1st time camping at PBF, 2nights & blessed with beautiful weather. Booking process easy & met by an informative member of staff who explained the camping area & facilities. I’ve been swimming at PBF so I know the area but wow camping was next level. Massive field to choose your favourite spot. Great pot wash facilities, toilets & showers. The sky was clear & fabulous for planet spotting. I enjoyed the moon swim on Q lake (which is my favourite) managed to swim multiple times in the 4 lakes & visit to the cafe(of course!) totally recommend & I will be back in 2026 to camp . Thank you PBF you are my best therapy

The lakes at PBF are absolutely stunning! We were 6 ladies, swimming and camping; the weather was great and we were treated to see so much wildlife, including swans flying overhead! Wow! We especially love the new Q lake, and spent some time practising our jumps and dives off one of the jetties. The new shower and toilet block in the campsite is a welcome addition- very posh!
The only complaint for us was the number of wasps that invaded our camp, especially in the morning, it was virtually impossible to eat breakfast, there were so many! And one of our group was stung under the arm! I’m not sure what the solution would be for this, but it definitely has put me off camping there in the summer months again.

This is one of the nicest places to camp and have a swim. All the visitors & staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome.
I’m so glad I found this place and will be returning often!
