Lake Bookings are delighted to be partnering with Hideaway Lake in Lower Normandy.
Hideaway Lake is a 2.5 acre lake which offers excelent carp fishing in a rural location within the national park of Normandy.
Formed in 1947 by the then Mairie (Mayor) Hideaway Lake was a place for entertaining dignitaries offering both fishing and hunting. The silt based lake nestles in a 5 acre woodland estate fed by a natural stream. Today it is a place to relax in peace and tranquillity.
The lake has recently reopened after an extensive maintenance and improvement program by its owners Trevor and Diane. The lake is fully fenced and surrounded by farmland and nature, making it a haven for many types of wildlife including Kingfishers fly and Owls, which call each other in the evening .
Their hard work clearing the banks of the lake has allowed all swims complete access all around the lake banks and a clear view of the whole lake. Hideaway Lake is fully open and we are currently taking bookings for 2018. The lake has four swims and is available exclusively or individually and also has hot food, accommodation and shower facilities. You can check availability and book the lake here.
The lake is well stocked with Mirror and Common Carp up to 35lbs and growing, some Sturgeon and Catfish all in pristine condition. So give Hideaway Lake a go with up to three other mates as we think it’s a bargain and definitely a hidden gem.
