When I arrived I thought I was at the wrong venue. Kestrel pond looks nothing like it does on the promo video at the top off this page as this must have been made when it was first dug. It’s VERY shallow and full off weed. Weed has been pulled out but just left all over the bank. This venue is definitely not worth £18 pounds for 24 hours and I couldn’t wait too leave.

Definitely a challenge this water. The fish don’t give themselves up easily. Not weedy but needs to be thought about before you start. Only had a few goes up to now but managed a couple. Very spooky creatures in here. Lovely quiet pond.

Really nice place, Willow & Kestrel when fishing well can produce real quality fish. Owners are always welcoming and helpful. The Pics are a couple of 20+s I had in a short session on Kestrel 2 weeks back.
