We are located in an idyllic part of France in what’s commonly known as the Golden Mile, and just two and a half hours from Calais. Our lakes are situated in the region of Picardie, close to the historical towns of Soissons and Reims, France. The village, Missy sur Aisne, is only a few minutes walk away where you will find our local bar/tabac and bakers. Also we are only a 10 minute drive to large supermarkets & petrol station.

We have 2 stunning fully fenced ex-gravel pit lakes to offer for your Holiday at Lac De Missy. Lake 1, is a stunning 15 Acre lake with two large double and three single man made swims, & we will be adding more swims as we clear the land around the Lake, there are also two islands, a number of gravel bars and a lot of natural features with a good head of mixed stock of around 100, up to this season. We hope to confirm our star before we restock at the end of this year, but it is reported a 49lb is in the lake.

Lake 2, is a stunning natural 10 Acre lake with two doubles and four single swims with a number of gravel bars and feeding spots all over the lake, we have also left a lot of the overhanging trees as feeding areas.

Both of the lakes can be booked individually or on an exclusive basis for up to 5 – 6 Anglerʼs so you can relax and enjoy your holiday with us.

Both of our lakes will suit the experienced angler as well as those new to fishing in France. As the new owner of the Lac De Missy venue we do not have a lot of history about it apart from the fact that it has been a duck hunting site for the past 30 years and that it has never been fished commercially before we took ownership.

We have worked over the past year on getting the lake and facilities ready for our guests and will continue to extend our facilities in the coming years. We would love to invite you to our home and new venture and making some memories.

Big thank you to Karen and Paul for a brilliant stress free relaxing week on lake 2 we really had a lovely week Karen and Paul are really the BEST hosts nothing is to much trouble , Paul waist high in lake helping land a fish at 8 am ! Karen taking me shopping had a giggle , even when car decided to die Paul came to the rescue , we done drive and survive but when we return in April 2020 already booked we will definitely have food package saves lugging all the cooking stuff and I get a week off 🤣🤣 Andy caught some huge. Fish 🎣 pics to follow , the facility’s were great lovely and clean bathroom with lovely hot shower , nice eating area and great views such a idilic place I really could of stayed forever xx

Had a super midweek break (4 of us), good hosts, facilities were excellent, especially for us ladies, food really nice and dessserts were something else. Fishing was a bit slow cos the fish were spawning but we made it easier for the incoming anglers who apparently “bagged up”.
