– Anglers must be in the possession of a valid EA Licence.
– All fish caught to be returned to the lake.
– No fishing in the conservation area.
– All rubbish to be taken home.
– Respect all other park users.
– 15lb mainline minimum when legering.
– 10lb mainline minimum when float fishing.
– Minimum 42 inch landing net.
– large padded unhooking mat/cradle to be used at all times for all species of fish.
– Fish to be retained for pictures for a maximum of 20 minutes.
– No sacking of Carp.
– Carp care kits to be used at all times.
– No fixed lead rigs.
– A maximum of 3 rods can be used per Angler.
– Random rig checks will be made by Bailiffs.
– All particles must be properly prepared before use, if in doubt please ask.
– All nets must be thoroughly dried before usage to prevent disease.
– if dip bins are available they must be used.
– Books/fob must be produced when asked to do so by a Bailiff.
– Maximum of 20 night Anglers on the lake at any one time.
– No boats to be fished no further than 25 wraps (12ft rod) or the middle where the lake narrows.
– Maximum stay 72 hours, no return within 24 hours.
– Weekend fishing – 3 weekends maximum per month, 4th weekend will be subject to availability.
– All fishing must be booked in advance
– Back leads must be used whilst sailing clubs are on the lake.
– Excessive consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
– Consumption of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
– Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
– Micro barbed hooks only.
– Three visits a maximum of 12 visits/obtains by non-members per year, must be notified well in advance.
– Carp fishing only no course fishing,
