Lake Information

With two mature estate lakes of 3 Acres and 1 Acre respectively, the area is surrounded by beautiful private woodlands and stocked with Carp weighing up to 28 lbs, as well as Rudd and Perch.

This exclusive fishery benefits from really fantastic fishing from five designated pegs on the top lake. The lakes have a variety of depths ranging from 2ft to 10ft with a stream running in one end and a dam at the other.

Individual pegs are on a first come basis, for the top lake you can arrive at the car park from 11.30am and go to your preferred peg at 12 noon.

Vehicles are not allowed up to the lake itself, the lake is a short walk from the car park, we would advise that you bring a barrow to transport equipment.

Disabled access not currently available, we are working on opening an accessible peg asap.

We provide a landing net, weigh sling and unhooking cradle for each peg. Please ensure these are left in a tidy manner.

The rules of fishing are given on the permit but in addition see below;

·         Peg are on a first come basis

The top lake (the larger of the two pools) contains a huge number of specimen carp up to 28 plus pounds. It has no more than five anglers fishing with a maximum of 3 rods each. Each peg has plenty of water.

The bottom lake is a pleasure fishing lake. Ideal for an enjoyable days fishing. It is stocked with carp of a smaller size. Bookings are currently paused for the bottom lake to allow us to review our ticket offering and ensure we are able to provide a Covid-19 safe environment.

    Managed to catch this 18lb 6pz lovely common, took a lot of work moved swims once , but worth it due to the fish being one of the original strain of commons in the lake👍🏻🎣

    A quiet 24hrs on the lake. Pleasant pegs and a toilet at the carpark.

    Fished swim 5&6 with a non fishing guest. Peg was freshly edged and barked, there’s a landing net, sack and cradle for use. Space would of been too small for two bivvies if someone else had come on the peg. This end is the shallows. This time of year lots of weed so is a less desirable peg. Saw lots of shoulders and many a carp in the “do not fish past this sign” area. Bailiff was very helpful. She gave me a few pointers and a weekly catch report and then was on her way, great! Only problem was the crayfish. I don’t know if this end is particularly bad but I couldn’t leave rigs out for longer than an hour and a half without reeling in to see they’ve chomped up my boilies just leaving the plastic corn toppers behind. Would visit again regardless but would try to bag one of the favourable dam end swims.
